1. Chocolate Truffle Cake
Ingredients:
o 1
½ cups all-purpose flour (Maida)
o 1 cup sugar
o ¾
cup unsweetened cocoa powder
o 1 teaspoons baking powder
o ½ teaspoons baking soda
o ½
teaspoon salt
o 2
eggs
o 1
cup milk
o ½
cup vegetable oil
o 2
teaspoons vanilla extract
o water as per requirement
Instructions:
·
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a
cake pan.
·
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour,
sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
·
Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract to
the dry ingredients, and mix well.
·
Gradually add the water while stirring
the batter continuously.
·
Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake
for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out
clean.
·
Allow the cake to cool completely before
frosting it with chocolate ganache or your favorite frosting.
2. Black Forest Cake
Ingredients:
o 1
¾ cups all-purpose flour
o 1 cups sugar
o ¾
cup unsweetened cocoa powder
o 1 teaspoons baking powder
o ½ teaspoons baking soda
o ½ teaspoon salt
o 2
eggs
o 1
cup milk
o ½
cup vegetable oil
o 2
teaspoons vanilla extract
o 1
cup boiling water
o Whipped
cream
o Maraschino
cherries
o Chocolate
shavings
Instructions:
·
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and
flour two round cake pans.
·
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour,
sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
·
Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla
extract to the dry ingredients and mix well.
·
Gradually add the boiling water while stirring
the batter continuously.
·
Divide the batter equally between the two
prepared pans.
·
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick
inserted into the center comes out clean.
·
Allow the cakes to cool completely.
·
Place one cake layer on a serving plate and
spread whipped cream over it. Add a layer of cherries.
·
Place the second cake layer on top and cover the
entire cake with whipped cream.
·
Garnish with cherries and chocolate shavings.
·
Refrigerate for a few hours before serving.

Classic Vanilla Cake
o 1½ cups all-purpose flour
o 1 teaspoon baking powder
o ½
teaspoon baking soda
o ½
teaspoon salt
o ¾ cup sugar
o ¾
cup unsalted butter, softened
o 3
large eggs
o 1
teaspoon vanilla extract
o 1 cups milk
Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and
flour a cake pan.

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking
powder, and salt.
·
In a separate large bowl, cream together the
sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
·
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after
each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed
mixture, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients.
·
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth
the top.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick
inserted into the centre comes out clean.

4. Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake
Ingredients:

o ½ teaspoon baking soda
o ½ teaspoon salt

large eggs

cup milk
o ½
cup vegetable oil

cup boiling water

cup creamy peanut butter
o Chocolate
ganache or frosting for topping
